Since the first manufacturing of Oud, thousands of years ago till nowadays, the making of Oud was never according to a scientific studying or acoustically . This, in addition to other reasons and obstacles, led that Oud never got its worldwide positions as a first class musical instrument.
There have been several problems because of absence of Oud scientific manufacturing like;
1- Differences in the acoustic clarity and sound quality between pitches.
2- Different measures for manufacturing Oud even by the same manufacturer.
3- The exaggeration in the ornamentations, decorations and additions that distorting sound and image of the Oud.

These mentioned reasons led to slowing the development of the Oud in technical and in performing.
